Today, you’re going to learn all about my weird sleeping habits. I know this is the type of post you dream of reading. It’s cool – I love learning about people too.
Now, here is the thing about the way I sleep.
I hate sharing. I don’t want to share a blanket with my husband. I want my own blanket that no one can steal or pull off of me while I sleep.
So instead, I have my own method.
I have a huge king-size blanket (this blanket is the best!) that I wrap myself into (imagine a large burrito) so there is no opportunity for any cold air to enter my blanket.
Then I position myself into complete comfort and go to sleep.
Because I refuse to share, my husband pretty much does the same thing.
I’m telling you, the key to a happy marriage is separate blankets on the bed.
You’re always comfortable and never have to worry about anyone stealing your blankets. It’s a win-win.

Do you know what else is a win-win?
Scones.
Especially when those scones are savory.
Don’t get me wrong I love a sweet scone but they don’t keep me full for long.
This savory scone is packed full of Parmesan and lots of prosciutto.
It was like eating an awesome Italian sandwich in scone form.
Oh, and I didn’t stop there – NOPE! I then went and slathered those delicious scones in Challenge Butter.
Here is the thing about good butter, it actually makes a difference! Challenge butter is 100% real cream butter, it’s made from hormone-free milk and includes no additives. That means you get a fresh delicious butter flavor in every single bite.
Plus they control the process of making their butter starting at the farms and ending with the packaging. Quality ingredients are worth it!
Now, if you have never made scones before you should know they are super easy (seriously go make them right now. I’ll wait.) and full of delicious butter flavor.
And while I love mine with butter (obvs) it’s also great slathered in creme fraiche.
Craving scones but looking for something sweeter? Try these lemon blueberry scones! Or how about you go full on fall seasonal with these apple scones.

Another great thing about these Parmesan prosciutto scones is their flexibility.
If it’s hard for you to find prosciutto in your area simply substitute with any other thick-sliced ham.
Although personally I think prosciutto is the way to go.
Even if you have to search every store to find it, it’s definitely worth it.

When it comes to sleep for me, it better be dead silent and I better not wake up and only have a sliver of blanket covering me. Luckily my husband has learned over the years…I’m a selfish sleeper, do not disturb. 🙂 The scones are absolutely the best thing I’ve seen today! Savory, cheesy, my perfect breakfast!
I love savory scones, and these would not only be awesome for Christmas but also for one of my weekend brunches with my group of girlfriends. Parmesan + prosciutto is always a winning combo in my book!
Oh the key to a happy marriage is a king size bed too! But my hubby would agree on the blanket…he says I am hog…whatever!
Yes to savory scones!!! These look amazing. I’d be tempted to slice these babies in half and smear them with butter and maybe even add a few slices of smoked turkey. I haven’t heard of Challenge Dairy, but they sound like a pretty fabulous company – I’m going to check them out now!
Love savory scones, and your combination of parm and prosciutto sounds awesome!
Ha! Love the separate blankets idea! And these scones. YES!
I want a big plate of these scones on Christmas morning! I love savory scones with lots of extra butter on them.
These look amazing! I love the flavors! I need to try this butter!
mmmm…I’d like to wake up at your house on Christmas.
You had me at prosciutto – and in a scone – for breakfast! I can’t wait until morning!
