It’s Secret Recipe Club time
If you are still not part of this amazing club I highly suggest you join. It’s so much fun! This month I was assigned the blog Penny-Pinching Provisions and immediately fell in love with two recipes. I must have been craving chocolate since both recipes were for brownies.
Then it hit me. Why not combine the two recipes? So, with recipes in hand I set off to combine Nutella Spiked Brownies and Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting….yum!
The brownies turned out ooey and gooey and had just the right amount of Nutella flavor. The frosting reminded me a lot of peanut butter fudge. In fact it felt like I was eating soft peanut butter fudge over top gooey brownies…I was in heaven! (My frosting to brownie ratio was a bit off because I halved the brownie recipe but not the frosting)

Nutella and I have an early morning ritual of spreading it thickly on toast, but wow, brownies sounds even more decadent.
I’m one of those people who’s very generous with the icing/frosting, too. 🙂
Wow, that’s a killer combination!
Such scrumptious brownies, they sound wonderful with nutella and pb frosting! Junior has been into both nutella & pb lately so she would definitely love this.
What a GREAT way to use nutella!! These look absolutely delicious!! 🙂
These sound so good – I love that there’s two spreads in one. I’d much rather have that than toast for breakfast anyday 😉
Goodness me, Nutella and brownies, somebody in my house would just drool over this, thanks for the recipe, it’s been a great adventure going through all the blogs because of SRC, meeting new bloggers and new recipes, you have a lovely space here
oh heavens. the frosting is thicker than the brownie, and frankly, that’s the way it should always be. 🙂
YUM! Pass one (or two or three) my way, please! 🙂
Brandy, These brownies look so amazing! YUMMO!
