Who could say no to a freshly baked, sweet, and dreamy treat?

These white chocolate chip blondies are buttery and golden bars, made with dark brown sugar, the usual baking ingredients like baking powder, cornstarch, and flour all loaded up with sweet white chocolate chips.

Blondies are a similar dessert to brownies, except they do not contain chocolate.

They have the same type of moist, decadent texture, but where brownies have chocolate as the star, these have sweet white chocolate and yummy vanilla!

Whether you’re serving them at a family gathering, or just treating yourself to a mid-week treat, white chocolate chip blondies are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.

Ingredients for White Chocolate Chip Blondies.

Ingredients for white chocolate chip blondies

  • Unsalted butter – Butter is the fat of choice for these blondies.
  • Sugars – I’ve used both brown sugar, and granulated sugar, for the deep molasses flavor of the brown sugar and the sweetness from the granulated.
  • Eggs – The eggs will help the batter emulsify.
  • Vanilla extract – Vanilla extract will add a subtle vanilla flavor.
  • All-purpose flour – A common baking ingredient that will make up the majority of the batter.
  • Cornstarch – Cornstarch helps the blondie stay nice and chewy.
  • Baking powder – Baking powder prevents the blondies from getting too dense and hard.
  • Kosher salt – Kosher salt helps balance the flavors.
  • White chocolate chips – White chocolate chips add little morsels of sweetness throughout the blondies.

Freeze ahead!

If you like having desserts on demand (and who doesn’t?) you can freeze these white chocolate chip blondies for later!

Simply bake as directed, cool completely, and cut the blondies.

Take cut blondies and wrap them in a layer of plastic wrap and then a layer of aluminum foil, and freeze.

They can stay in the freezer for up to 3 months!

To reheat from frozen, simply let thaw on the counter for a day.
