This fresh and summery white wine peach sangria is the perfect addition to your summer menu. Made with fresh sliced summer peaches, crisp white wine, peach schnapps, and a splash of seltzer water for added fizz.
Are you looking for the perfect summertime cocktail?
I have you covered with this crisp and refreshing white wine peach sangria.
It’s made with crisp white wine, sweet peach schnapps, fresh sliced summer peaches (THE BEST!), and a splash of seltzer water for an added fizz.
I also threw in a few strawberries because when it comes to sangria I’m all about the soaked fruit!
Since I used peach schnapps you’re getting a lot of sweetness from the liqueur so I opted to not add any additional sugar.
However, if you like a sweeter sangria you can either use a sweeter white wine or add in 2-3 tablespoons of superfine sugar.

What is sangria?
Sangria is a cocktail that is traditionally made with red wine, fruit, and some sort of added liquor or liqueur.
I have made a couple of different versions over the years but some of my favorites are my Honeycrisp Apple Sangria, Raspberry Mango Sangria, or my Summertime Sangria.
What type of white wine is best for sangria?
The perfect wine for sangria will always vary by the flavor profile you like or that you’re looking to achieve.
For this white wine peach sangria, I like to use something very crisp and refreshing with strong notes of citrus to cut through the peach sweetness – like a sauvignon blanc.
If you are looking for a sweeter sangria a Riesling is a great option.
You’ll just want to keep in mind that the added peach schnapps is a bit on the sweeter side so adjust accordingly.
When do I add my fruit to sangria?
You’ll want to add your fruit right away to help infuse flavor into the sangria and to help the fruit soak up a bit of the wine.
PLUS the fruit gives you an excellent slightly boozy snack.
Can I make my sangria sweeter?
Of course!
If a sweet sangria is what you crave you can make a few changes or additions to this recipe to make it perfect just for you.
The first option we already talked about – adding a sweeter white wine like Riesling.
Another option is adding in some granulated sugar but you’ll want to make sure to give it time to dissolve.
Alternatively, you could also use simple sugar syrup if you don’t have the time to make sure the granulated sugar is fully dissolved.
Also, adding more peach schnapps will add more sweetness.
How long does sangria last?
If properly stored in the refrigerator your sangria should last for up to 5 days.
How can I store leftover sangria?
You’ll want to keep any leftover sangria in the refrigerator.
I like to keep it in a covered pitcher so no weird fridge smells get into the flavor of the sangria.
