How to make fish stick tacos
Do you know why these easy fish tacos are easy? The use of fish sticks! You don’t need to heat a deep fryer and fry your fish for delicious make-at-home tacos. Nope. Not with the use of your favorite frozen fish sticks!
- Make fish sticks according to box directions.
- Warm or toast your corn tortillas.
- Mix coleslaw mix, cilantro, and green onions with Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, garlic, and spices.
- Lay out your corn tortilla, top with four fish sticks, and top with slaw.

- Use your favorite frozen fish sticks or frozen fish fillet for this recipe.
- If you have extra cabbage, you can slice it yourself instead of buying a bagged coleslaw blend. You’ll need about 7 cups.

Easy Fish Tacos

Ingredients
- 32 frozen fish sticks
- 8 (6-inch) corn tortillas, lightly toasted
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated garlic
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (16 ounce) bag tri-color coleslaw blend
- 3 thinly sliced green onions, white and green parts
- ¼ cup minced fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Bake the fish sticks according to box directions.
- While the fish sticks bake lightly toast your tortillas and wrap in foil to keep them warm.
- In a medium sized mixing bowl whisk together Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, grated garlic, smoked paprika, kosher salt and black pepper.
- To the Greek yogurt mixture add your tri-color coleslaw mix and green onions. Toss to combine.
- To make your tacos add 4 fish sticks per tortilla, top with the desired amount of slaw and sprinkle with cilantro.
