This healthy Greek yogurt curried chicken salad is full of flavor and perfect for busy days. It’s made with fat-free Greek yogurt, shredded chicken breast, chutney, shallots, and lots of dried fruit.
Getting tired of the same old chicken salad and looking for something new?
This curried chicken salad is made leaner and packed with more protein thanks to the help of some fat-free Greek yogurt mixed with shredded chicken breast, fresh green onions, earthy curry powder, dried fruit (apricots and raisins,) tangy shallots, and complex and sweet chutney.
Using a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store or canned chicken for this recipe makes it come together even quicker!
If you’re unsure about replacing standard mayonnaise with Greek yogurt, add half each first.
Greek yogurt is tangy, cool, and creamy and adds extra protein, making this curried chicken salad healthier than regular mayo-based ones.

What is Major Grey’s chutney?
It’s a savory, light curried condiment made from mango, onion, red bell pepper, apple, raisins, ginger, lime juice, vinegar, and brown sugar.
It’s packed with flavor and works perfectly in this curried chicken salad.
If you cannot find Major Grey’s chutney, use mango chutney, apricot preserves, or leave it out.
However, each alternative will change the taste of the chicken salad slightly.
