Now, to get this finely chopped look, I like to use a food processor. However, if you don’t have a food processor, you can chop the heck out of it with a sharp kitchen knife.
Either way will work fine, but a food processor takes much less time.

Ingredients for ham salad
- Ham – Use leftover ham and chop it up in the food processor!
- Celery – I love the crunchy texture celery brings to the recipe.
- Red onion – I use a little red onion because I like the flavor and the crunch.
- Sweet pickle relish – Optional, but I love the light sweetness it gives the ham salad.
- Mayonnaise – This holds the salad together! My favorite is Duke’s.
- Spices – I’m not using anything fancy, just a little black pepper. If your ham isn’t salty enough, you can add kosher salt.
How to make
I LOVE meat salads. I know that sounds gross to say in that way, but what do we call salads made of protein? You know, like egg salad, tuna salad, chicken salad, etc.
