Sometimes you make a recipe that makes you say to yourself “what in the hell were you thinking?” That is how I feel about this delicious slice jar of no-bake Oreo marshmallow cheesecake. It’s sweet, fluffy and full of marshmallow and Oreo flavor. You are going to love this!

The thing I love most about this cheesecake is that it’s no-bake. That’s right. No need to heat up the oven and roast yourself out of your home. Trust me, the weather has been boiling hot lately and my AC is working overtime. Ain’t nobody got time for a hot kitchen…am I right?

The texture of this marshmallow cheesecake is fluffy, and definitely reminiscent of marshmallow fluff, but not as sticky. I paired it with Oreo’s because they are basically my weakness. Who ever invented these cookies deserves a pat on the back. You created the one thing I shamefully can eat – All. Day. Long.

Trust me, if you need a sweet boost to your day you have to try this no-bake Oreo marshmallow cheesecake!

Ingredients

For crust:

  • 25 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, optional

For cheesecake:

  • 20 large marshmallows
  • 1/3 cup whole milk
  • 8 ounce brick cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste, or extract
  • 6 ounces whipped topping, Cool Whip
  • 5 crushed Oreos

Instructions

For crust:

  • Crush Oreo cookies by hand (put inside a large zip top bag and crush with rolling pin) or in a food processor. Add in melted butter and optional sugar and mix until it reaches the consistency of wet sand.
  • Press into a 9×9 baking dish or a 9-inch cake or pie plate.

For cheesecake:

  • In a skillet add marshmallows and milk. Heat over low until the marshmallows melt and the mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer add cheese cream and vanilla bean paste. Beat for 1 minute. Add in marshmallow mixture and beat for 3 minutes until fluffy.
  • Fold in whipped topping and add to your prepared dish.
  • Add to the fridge to set for at least 1 hour. Top with crushed Oreos right before serving.

  2. oh my gosh! These sound heavenly! I love this combination! And I LOVE cheesecake! These are perfect!

  3. Hi I am in UK…. What can I use instead of brick cheese as not sure if is
something I can find over here?

    1. Can you find cream cheese in the UK? I say the word “brick” because here in the US cream cheese comes in a brick shaped box. If you cannot get cream cheese I think mascarpone would be a descent substitute. It might not be as firm but the flavor would be great.

  4. I make this alllll the time. For years now I thought I was the only one… Except I use I jar of jetpuff marshmallows and 8oz cream cheese whipped together… I use all kinds of different crusts, but oreo is my favorite 🙂 guna have to try it using vanilla extract and whipped cream… Would be awesome to get out fluffier 🙂 thanks for your recipe

  5. Hi. My daughter is vegetarian and won’t eat marshmallows. Can fluff be substituted? How much you think? This sounds fantastic and I’m going to try it, gluten free and dairy free but if it can be vegetarian she can enjoy it too.
    Thanks

    1. Hi Joan! I have never used fluff but I feel like it could work. If you give it a try please let me know how it works!

    2. @Joan Wamsley, leave out the marshmallows and milk, cream 1 cup of powdered sugar with the 8 oz cream cheese and add a full 8 oz of whipped topping, and homemade whipped cream works

    1. Hi Melissa! I have never tried using homemade whipped cream so I’m not really sure. If you give it a try please let me know how it works out!
